Due to recent contract wins and continued growth, Innovair are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals to join their Survey department in the role of CAD Technician. This is a client-facing role where the successful candidate will be expected to have experienced working as part of a team to deliver results.
Innovair specialise in development and operation of innovative and effective industrial robotic systems to overcome complex challenges across many industries. We provide a holistic, accurate and responsive inspection & survey service which captures and analyses data in hard-to-reach areas; ensuring customers are confident in managing risk and achieving the highest operational efficiency through state-of-the-art, tried and tested techniques. With our technology, we are creating solutions that gives our customers the ability to make fast, effective decisions in relation to their high value assets, that result in operational efficiencies and reduced human health and safety risk through total data capture and repeatable, measurable data.
Innovair are pioneering the use of remote sensing technology to provide primarily point cloud surveys to a variety of industries. The successful candidate will have experience of converting point cloud models to 2D/3D CAD drawings and BIM models to various Levels of Detail. 


Role Responsibilities:

•    Review survey specifications received from clients
•    Assist with the processing of photogrammetric and LiDAR data alongside survey teams
•    Perform QA/QC analysis on raw data
•    Liaise with clients and stakeholders where required
•    Modelling of 3D data into 2D and 3D CAD drawings from point cloud data
•    Creation of as-built drawings
•    Produce BIM models in Revit derived from point cloud models
•    Utilise Innovair HSEQ procedures and work within ISO accredited system
•    Build relationships with current and potential clients
•    Full UK driving licence


Core Skills and Competencies

•    Proficiency with CAD and geomatics packages (AutoCAD, LSS, Revit, Recap)
•    Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner
•    2-5 years’ PQE
•    Experience with point clouds and BIM LODs

Preferred Skills and Competencies

•    Experience with LiDAR, photogrammetry and mobile mapping systems
•    CSCS card preferred but not required
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    A background in architecture/M&E design
