Due to recent contract wins and continued growth, Innovair are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join their team as an Inspection Engineer. 

Innovair helps asset and site owners, visualise and measure their environments, maintain asset integrity and complete complex tasks without putting people at risk. Our inspection division support site owners/operators throughout the life cycle of their facilities.  Deploying a broad range of remote inspection vehicles, we can access the most complex areas of our client’s facilities to get the accurate and repeatable data they need to understand its current condition.

Inspection Engineer Role Responsibilities:

  • As part of our inspection team, you will ensure projects are carried out to the highest of standards, in-line with the company's quality system.

  • Advise best practice approaches, undertake RAMS and compile inspection methodologies. Complete inspection projects on-site using robotic technology and software.

  • Ensure all inspection data collected is accurate, concise and correctly referenced for reproduction and reporting purposes.

  • Manage inspection data and prepare inspection reports.

  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of equipment as required.

  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge of equipment and its operation.

  • Utilise Innovair HSEQ procedures and work within ISO accredited system.

  • Build relationships with current and potential clients.


Core Skills and Competencies:

  • Qualification to degree level in an Engineering discipline or demonstrate considerable relevant industry experience.

  • PFCO License and experience in piloting drones in an offshore or industrial environment. 

  • Experience in completing visual inspections within an offshore or industrial environment. 

  • Competent report writer and good attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Will be self-motivated and pro-active.

  • Will have the ability to solve problems effectively and in a timely manner out on site.


Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • UK Offshore Survival, Medical & MIST

  • CSCS Card

  • Experience in photo and video editing

  • Visual inspection and other NDT qualification

  • Full UK driving license
