INSPECTION WORKFLOW
How do we complete internal caisson inspections? Our innovative workflow is designed to streamline the inspection process, ensuring a safe and efficient operation. We will work with you to build a work pack detailing all the information of the caisson from type, size, length, known defects and environment caisson is situated in. This will ensure we have all the necessary information for correct tooling to be sent offshore and method statement. We have a highly qualified team of engineers with extensive experience inspecting a range of caisson types. (Seawater, Firewater, Utility, Dump & Drains)
Generally, a remote visual inspection is carried out first to ascertain general condition of caisson and log any unknown defects or features. High pressure water cleaning is then carried out to remove corrosion product and marine growth to prepare caisson walls for further inspection. After cleaning is carried out to a satisfactory level (generally SA2.5), caisson is visually inspected using HD pan and tilt subsea spyball cameras. Finally, we deploy our Ultrasonic Mapping tool which collects C-Scan wall thickness data within caisson above and below water.
The data collected by our systems is then analysed using our proprietary software, which generates comprehensive reports highlighting any potential risks or areas of concern. The entire process is completed with the utmost safety and security, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to your operations. On every inspection project we will work with you to implement a complete solution.
