Inspection Engineer Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an inspection engineer to support operational delivery of a range of on & offshore inspection projects. The role offers a diverse, multi-skilled, career in the field of inspection using drones, remote crawlers, Advanced NDT and the deployment of bespoke robotic inspection solutions to deliver innovative inspection capabilities.
This role will require the individual to work as part of a team, and will be primarily field-based, but may also be office / workshop based, or in remote sites as required.
Responsibilities:
As part of our inspection team, you will ensure projects are carried out to the highest of standards, in-line with the company's quality system.
Advise best practice approaches, prepare RAMS and compile inspection methodologies.
Complete inspection projects on-site using robotic technology and inspection solutions.
Ensure all inspection data collected is accurate, concise and correctly referenced for reproduction and reporting purposes.
Manage inspection data and prepare inspection reports.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of equipment as required.
Maintain and develop technical knowledge of equipment and its operation.
Utilise Innovair HSSEQ procedures and work within ISO accredited system.
Build relationships with current and potential clients.
Core Skills and Competencies:
Qualification to degree level in an Engineering discipline or demonstrate considerable relevant industry experience.
Experience in completing NDT inspections within an offshore or industrial environment.
Competent report writer and good attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Will be self-motivated and pro-active.
Will have the ability to solve problems effectively and in a timely manner out on site.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
UK Offshore Survival, Medical & MIST
Visual inspection and other NDT qualification(s)
Full UK driving license
Experience in piloting drones in an offshore or industrial environment.
Must be eligible to work in the UK
