About Innovair

Innovair is a robotics-led inspection company delivering advanced inspection services across offshore wind, energy infrastructure, and industrial assets. We develop and deploy robotic inspection systems that deliver safer access, higher-quality data, and actionable insight, redefining how critical assets are inspected.

As Innovair expands its advanced inspection capability, we are seeking an Advanced NDT Technical Lead to develop and embed advanced NDT techniques across our robotic inspection services.

Role Overview

The Advanced NDT Technical Lead provides technical leadership for advanced non-destructive testing within Innovair.

You will lead the development, qualification, and governance of advanced NDT techniques, working closely with robotics engineers and delivery teams to ensure methods can be successfully deployed via robotic systems. The role is hands-on during early projects and first-of-kind deployments, while building the procedures, training, and standards required for scalable delivery.

  • Define NDT procedures, method statements, and inspection requirements.

  • Support training and competency development of delivery teams.

  • Provide authoritative NDT input into proposals, tenders, and technical clarifications.

  • Support early project delivery and new technique introduction.

What success looks like in your first 12 months

  • Advanced NDT techniques are validated and in live delivery

  • Delivery teams are trained and competent in approved methods

  • Strong technical confidence during bids and mobilisation through clearly defined and validated NDT methodologies

  • Increased client confidence in Innovair’s inspection credibility

Who this role is for

Desirable

  • Exposure to robotic or remote inspection systems.

  • Experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, energy, or asset-heavy industries.

  • PCN Level 3 (or demonstrable equivalent experience).

What we offer

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience

  • Opportunity to build and shape advanced NDT capability

  • Hands-on technical role with real influence

  • Growing, technology-led SME environment
