About Innovair
Innovair is a robotics-led inspection company delivering advanced inspection services across offshore wind, energy infrastructure, and industrial assets. We develop and deploy robotic inspection systems that deliver safer access, higher-quality data, and actionable insight, redefining how critical assets are inspected.
As Innovair scales its inspection services, we are expanding our commercial capability and are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support growth across our robotic inspection service lines.
Role Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer is a client-facing role operating at the intersection of engineering, inspection, and commercial delivery.
You will work with clients to understand inspection challenges, develop technically robust solutions using Innovair’s robotic and NDT capabilities, and support the conversion of opportunities into well-defined, high-value work.
This is not a traditional sales role. It is suited to an engineer or inspection professional who enjoys client engagement and wants to apply technical expertise in a solutions-focused, commercial environment.
Why this role exists
Innovair is launching and scaling multiple robotic inspection service lines where early technical engagement is critical to success. This role exists to bridge the gap between advanced robotic inspection capability and client decision-making, improving bid quality, conversion rate, and delivery confidence while reducing reliance on founder-led sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities across offshore wind, oil & gas, energy infrastructure, and industrial assets.
Develop inspection solutions that leverage Innovair’s robotics, advanced NDT, and digital inspection capabilities.
Build and manage a pipeline of technically qualified opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
Support preparation of proposals, tenders, and commercial submissions with clear technical and value-based justification.
Lead early-stage technical discussions with clients, translating challenges into deliverable inspection scopes.
Work closely with engineering, NDT, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and scalable.
What success looks like in your first 12 months
Strong, technically qualified pipeline aligned to Innovair’s strategic service lines
Improved proposal quality and conversion rate
Reduced rework and scope clarification during delivery
Clients view Innovair as a trusted technical partner, not just a supplier
Who this role is for
This role will suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys client interaction, problem-solving, and shaping inspection solutions. You are comfortable explaining complex systems clearly and want to sit closer to commercial impact without moving into a pure sales role.

Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness.

Exposure to robotic inspection systems or advanced NDT techniques.
Experience supporting proposals or technical bids.
What we offer
Competitive salary dependent on experience
Opportunity to work with advanced robotic inspection technology
Significant influence over how services are shaped and sold
Fast-growing, technology-led SME environment
Eligibility & Requirements
